Submit art for the blueprint for a sustainable campus
Be a general member
If you want to team up with the Student Environmental Center, come check out our General Gatherings at the Rachel Carson College Red Room. These events are posted in our Calendar. GGs usually have free, delicious food with vegetarian/vegan options provided for all who participate. Bring your friends and come meet new people, hear about environmental issues on campus, and learn how you can help!
You can also keep updated with the work we do by receiving our periodic newsletters. These will fill general members in on the events and project SEC works on. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org

be a co-chair
There are four Co-chair positions within the SEC including Personnel, Fiscal, Outreach & Media, and Event Planning. These Co-Organizer positions collaborate during weekly Co-Chair meetings to build the agenda for and facilitate Steering meetings. Personnel steers campaign development, tracks progress and paperwork, and manages the inner workings of the organization. Outreach & Media maintains this website, publishes weekly newsletters, and publicizes campaigns and events. Event Planning plans and executes General Gatherings as well as collaborates with other sustainability organizations both on and off campus. Fiscal tracks our operating budget. Students normally become a Co-chair after a full year of engaged involvement with the organization.
